A global original equipment manufacturer (OEM) needed help with a group of problem suppliers. The suppliers consumed a large amount of personnel time to correct and amend delivery issues. The OEM needed a company that could take on all the purchasing, expediting and accounts payable functions for this particular group of vendors.

After reviewing the OEM’s production process and supplier issues, World Class Industries consolidated its vendor group to solve the problem. We implemented procedures to decrease delinquency, streamline purchase order issuance and reduce the total cost of all transactions. WCI also found a segment of parts that could be switched to another vendor offering the same quality at a lower cost.
